why i decided to blog:: rosamblies #1

so the thought of blogging has never crossed my mind once before. i mean people at church had done it and i had heard about it, but i was never really interested in it.

recently, tiffpan sent me the site to her newest blog and asked me if i had one. i was going to reply to her and tell her i didn't, but i haven't gotten around to it yet. anyways, today, i was fb surfing and found out that someone else i knew had a blog. it made me start to wonder.

so why?

i have yet to answer that question so you're probably annoyed or frustrated at me. haha, but it actually really stays true to what this blog is going to be like. ramblings. as some of you may know, in this past year, i have started to post random notes on fb, first with surveys and then with just random thoughts. in truth, i really enjoying typing up random topics because i just like....talking. and this is more productive than watching dramas or whatnot. basically, i plan to use this blog by posting up thoughts all over the place that i would like people to read. whether or not they do, i'll write it anyways for my own entertainment and to use up time. i used to think of blogging as online journaling and like xanga, that failed. i also do not know if i want deep secrets to be read by general public. and it probably will be nothing like a diary or anything since those can be tedious.

just think of it as i have too much to say to no one. =)

  1. I don't think you need to give your readers a reason for why you blog. I think most people just need a place to put their thoughts, whether they're trivial or deep.

Some people have multiple blogs, depending on subject matter.

But if you want to write things that you don't want everyone to read, you can either:
    1) make it just a private entry that only you will have access to
    2) only allow certain people to read your blog in general (it's like protecting the entire blog), since you're using blogger.

I look forward to better stalking you now. :)

HAHAH that made me laugh :)

i didn't like xanga/whatever because it just felt like. everyone was being almost ridiculously emo on there. but i've been thinking of journaling too. maybe i will... hahah. though i can see myself being too lazy to post in it for like. years. or maybe i'd post annually... hahaha
